Dear Cozy,
If life gives you lemons, ask for salt and vinegar.
I believed I would have you and I have. I believed that I would have your sister and I’m carrying her now. I believe I’d give you both a baby brother and I look forward to that.
All that, is faith; believing that something will be, even though you have little or no power over it.
It sounds crazy and it is definitely crazy when it becomes a practical issue. I’d tell you, I’ve had my faith- fights. I can’t say I won all, that will be lying. But I recognised them for what they were… Tests.
When God tests us, there are three options;
1. Win and learn.
2. Learn.
3. Learn.
There is no losing. If that relationship did not work out, I did not lose. If that job interview didn’t go well, I did not lose. If I miscarried that first pregnancy, I did not lose. I learnt.
Faith is a teacher. It usually doesn’t teach you during the test, it’s before or after. Love, Mum.
Just a Little More…
1. Faith is fundamental to us all notwithstanding religious inclination. It teaches us all to hold on to hope. The times we waver in faith, it is easy to think our faith is little. But, we must realize that it’s not in the how much (of faith) but in the in who.
2. Every test from God is a learning platform.
